Definitely Decorative

Hello everyone!
I know it's been a long long time since I posted. I really don't know where this month has gone.

I am starting to miss my inks and hope to get them out this weekend!
With this snow storm that is belting us, I really have the time...no place to go! So far we have 6 inches, but it's knocking at the windows now, so the sleet is hitting, I don't know how much more accumulation we'll get, but it's still coming down.

I took my little guy out in the sled earlier, but the wind was blowing too much, he didn't enjoy it as much as he did when we visited Maine at Christmas.

It's quite something to see folks out in whatever they could find to keep warm. Shoveling with dirt shovels instead of snow shovels. Wearing bags over their feet to keep them dry, it's really funny. I have all the gear, so I take it for granted.

My daughter has been loving the snow! She and her friends were out playing in it earlier today. You are never too old to have fun in the snow...even in high school, it's still fun :)

This past week I got in an order. I've been debating on the definitely decorative things from Stampin' UP!, but only because we are renting. However, for our anniversary hubby got me this clock. He looked on-line and for year 6 it's iron, so he found this...pretty isn't it??

Well, it looked so lonely on the wall above the TV nook, so I thought some flair would spice it up. It's pretty. Now that it's up, I think I could've turned them a different way, but I still like it. It's a great idea to just add that touch to a plain wall. I've even seen some stores using this technique now.

Well, thanks for visiting today! Keep warm! I'm going to go watch a good movie...then maybe come back to ink, while baby sleeps :)

Oh yeah, I like it! Perfect for renting as well because it comes off so easily! I can't wait to play with these when we move this summer! My whole house just may be vinyled-up!

Oh, I think it is absolutely gorgeous! I just love it. I always want to do something pretty like that with the definitely decorative and can't ever decide what to do, so I love what you have done with it!

This is beautiful Katie!!! I love the clock and your special touches make it stunning! It snowed here a lot too! We got about 8-10" and then another inch of sleet build up and now it's snowing again! More on Tues and Thurs. they say! Guess it will be a stamping week!

I know what you mean about watching 'non-weathered' folks...when I was living in VA, it cracked me up to see the sheer panic from a dusting of snow
